Fundamental Media’s core services range from strategic media planning and buying to bespoke research and PR support.  We work exclusively for fund management companies targeting the institutional and retail finance markets in Europe and all staff at Fundamental Media have extensive experience in both the publishing and financial markets.

 This specialisation means that we free up valuable in-house resources for our clients. You can delegate all aspects of the media planning to us.  We can complete all projects autonomously; requiring only very broad guidelines (target groups, geographies, budget) to select the relevant media and the most effective formats and frequency. In addition we provide proprietary systems for our clients that eliminate a lot of the more mundane tasks in their marketing and PR work, allowing them to concentrate on the high value tasks.

 Our staff are multi-national, providing local offices with local support.

Fundamental Media takes a rigorous and scientific approach to media planning. Following the brief of the client we prepare a preliminary media selection by utilising our publications and features database, which currently tracks and evaluates over 800 fund management relevant publications across Europe and our research database which currently contains over 1,200 in-depth interviews on the reading habits of buy-side decision makers in the European institutional and retail finance industry.

 This selection is then stress-tested and fine-tuned by applying a range of filters which use quantitative data such as media overlap, duplicate readership, reach and wastage but also qualitative criteria such as creative options available within certain media. 

 The result is a media plan that provides you with a maximum impact at the lowest possible cost in your target markets and groups.

 Following approval we will not only purchase media at the best possible rates but also provide all the administrative support necessary throughout the campaign.
